Lately I see no one is posting on the food board

Please join me here for your newest finds and ideas for summer
eating and drinking... not necessarily recipes but they are OK too !!

I make solar tea all year long.. but that takes time

I found that "Twinnings"... has some new & nicer fast tea products out there
You just put the necessary amount of tea bags in your glass or pitcher
and voila.. in a few minutes you have tea brewed.. Nice flavors too
(My favorite is their Green tea with mint)... longer brewer time just means
you can get more tea for your buck...as it just gets stronger and can be diluted..

Very refreshing for a quick summer beverage :-))

2.  Find of the last year is the fact that Barilla (for example) makes mini size pasta

a) great with the  bow ties with tuna (the water kind in a pouch) quick and easy. just add celery etc with your favorite dressing... these smaller pastas cook very quickly and in no time you can have a great meal

b)I also used the smaller penne with pepper medley along with olives and tomatoes
I prefer this with Italian dressing with grated cheese on the side.. lots of black
pepper adds the finishing touch for my family

I just watched the burger challenge on Food Network and we made a burger similiar to one of theirs.

We grilled out, HUMOUNGOUS burgers, topped with yummmmmmmy home made pimento cheese, bacon, sauteed vidalia onions and grilled green tomatoes.
