What a sad event at an historical place.  I think I first learned of this Grove City, PA forge on TIYH and I've been fortunate to have found some of their lovely pieces--even jewelry--at local sales here.  I so wish I'd gone to visit there though. I will definitely treasure my older vintage pieces from there.

If you ever compare a piece of their  old hammered aluminum pieces and most others, the difference in quality and beauty of appearance and even "feel" is apparent.

Thanks Toni for posting this.. what a loss
but I see they plan to re-build
I used to collect aluminum ware but mostly for resale
I do still have a few peices left..mostly Russell Kent I believe
I will have to look over what I have to check on what designers I have
Bet the prices on Ebay will rise
