RE:post your favorite Christmas Holiday recipes

I finally took time to read this---sounds like a fun and good holiday recipe:)
I'm afraid  I was too busy to read or post recipes during the actual season--lol.
I'll bet this would be good to adjust with family tastes with things like raisins maybe instead of
candied fruit which we aren't big fans of--or just use the dough itself would probably still taste great!

 BUBBLE or pullapart coffeecake

this recipe is fairly easy and works well for Holidays

1 or 2 loaves frozen bridgeford bread dough. (just barely thawed)

Use the quick thaw method on the back of the bread dough package for thawing.  Cut each loaf in 1/2 lengthwise and then cut each section with scissors into 2 inch pieces. It is best to keep the dough cool.. Also a good idea to assemble your other ingredients ahead of time so that you can work quickly or assemble at the last minute without any pressure

other ingredients as desired

I use 2 loaves for the 4 of us but if you just wanted to try this out or did not want to pig out you could use just one loaf..(cut back on ingredients). 2 loaves is enough to fill a regular sized bundt pan or other pan with hole in center.. which should be sprayed with pam

small container of English candied fruit/cup of chopped walnuts (mixed together)/zest of one orange/up to a stick of butter(melted)/also OK to cut back on butter and add some of the juice from the orang /sugar as desired/cinnamon if you want

get all of your things together in an assembly line ... first slightly flattened each small piece of dough and add a bit of the candied fruit & walnuts  and pinch together in a small bundle... get this step done first as your hands want to stay fairly clean.... next add the zest to the sugar and cinnamon to taste and have your melted butter handy... dab your fingers in the butter and dip piece of dough in the sugar mixture... start to layer bundles in the sprayed bundt pan making sure that the pinched side is up or away from the sides... alternate the pieces around the bundt pan some on the inside some on the outer and staggering the layers ... this should be done loosely as dough will rise and expand... if any sugar or butter is left you can sprinkle these leftovers about the pan in the gaps...

Now let the dough rise (I cover with an old tea towel) .. I usually do this after supper so the job is done and I can sleep in the next morning... if you place the bundt pan on a cool porch or overnight in the fridge for early morning baking... it shoud be risen by morning/        or let rise in a warm place.covered for 1 hour or till dough reaches top of the pan  .......at this time uncover and place in a preheated oven

Heat oven to 350* and bake for 30-35 minutes. then turn oven down to 300*and bake about 10 minutes longer you do not want the top to get too browned.... let rest about 5 minutes in pan and then flip to serving plate..         I do a double flip as I like the original top to be on top...drizzle with confectioners glaze if you want

This is not as complicated as it seems after you do it for 30 yrs like me you can do it in your sleep but it is nice to see the how to writen down... not really that hard and its to die for!!!
